The Reach, Teach, and Grow Outreach Program!

🌱 Empowering Communities for a Sustainable Future 🌿

The Wanderland Society's Reach, Teach, and Grow Outreach Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to promote sustainable agriculture and natural resource conservation in historically underserved communities. Hosted at The Wanderland Campground, the program aims to recruit students, farmers, and ranchers to expand their networks and knowledge in these areas, introducing the principles and benefits of conservation practices.

This multifaceted initiative is designed to connect students, farmers, ranchers, and mentors, fostering knowledge exchange and community building within the agricultural sector.

REACH: Focuses on recruitment, inviting students, farmers, ranchers, and mentors to expand their networks and knowledge. By fostering connections and collaborations, we aim to create a vibrant community dedicated to sustainable agriculture.

TEACH: Dedicated to working closely with farmers, ranch owners, and students interested in adopting sustainable agricultural practices. We provide support and resources, including education sessions held at Wanderland Campground. Our sessions cover critical topics such as water management, irrigation engineering, solar energy, soil practices, and agroforestry. Participants gain valuable knowledge and skills to implement sustainable methods effectively.

GROW: Is all about cultivating career opportunities in agriculture and conservation. Through internships and mentoring programs, we empower students to gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills for successful careers in sustainable agriculture and natural resource conservation.

Join us in the REACH, TEACH, GROW program to explore, learn, and contribute to a sustainable future in agriculture and conservation..

Cultivating Change, Nurturing Growth in Jobs at the USDA 🌿
