Camping Is For Everyone. Wanderland Is For You.
Welcome to Wanderland
Wanderland Campground is a 72‑acre retreat set atop Lookout Mountain in northwestern Georgia. Nestled among oak forests and overlooking the lower Appalachian range, our land offers a tranquil escape just minutes from Chattanooga. Wanderland invites everyone—families, solo explorers and groups—to connect with nature through camping, hiking, and unique outdoor experiences. Our mission is simple: protect this beautiful land and share it with those who love the outdoors.
What Makes Us Different
We’re not your typical RV park or resort. Wanderland believes in simplicity and authenticity—no blaring RVs or loud generators here. You’ll find carefully curated glamping sites, designated trails and special event spaces that encourage quiet reflection and connection. We honor the land by leaving it as we found it and educating guests about conservation. Whether you’re a seasoned backpacker or new to camping, our team is here to ensure you have a safe, memorable stay.

Authors Note
Thank you so much for reading, Camping is for Everyone. As my campground, Wanderland, which is located in North Georgia, grew in popularity with new campers every week, I found that I was asked similar questions such as; “What should we bring camping?” “What size tent should we buy?” ”Can I bring my dog camping?”
Many people knew how much time I spent in the forest, but most didn't know about the project that was underway. For years, I would research a new topic with each excursion and every weekend another bushcraft skill was explored.
