Trail Cleanup Program
The Wanderland Trail Clean-up Program is an initiative to keep our trails clean and well-maintained for all hikers, campers, and nature enthusiasts. The program is designed to raise awareness of the impacts of litter and pollution on the environment and inspire individuals to take action.
The program will involve a series of trail clean-up events held throughout the year, with volunteers working together to collect and dispose of trash and debris along designated trails. These events will be open to the public and will include educational sessions on the importance of maintaining clean trails, the impact of pollution on the environment, and best practices for responsible waste disposal. The program is sponsored in part by ExtremeTerrain Clean Trail Grant. https://www.extremeterrain.com/clean-trail-initiative-program.html
The program will also feature a social media campaign to promote awareness and encourage participation in trail clean-up events. Social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, will be used to share information about upcoming events, highlight the work of volunteers, and encourage community engagement.
The goal of the Trail Clean-up Program is to create a sense of community around the care and maintenance of our natural spaces, inspire people to take action to protect the environment, and promote responsible use of our trails. By working together, we can make a significant impact in keeping our trails clean and beautiful for generations to come.
